This is my gorgeous niece on her wedding day just as she found out she would have to get married up on the "Rockin Ropes".
She and hubby [to be] won a radio competition and had 72 hours
to organise the wedding!! That is....HE had to organise the wedding with his best mate. SHE with her best mate were whisked off to Sydney with one of the radio people to make sure there was absolutely NO contact with hubby to be. HE had to arrange
EVERYTHING.
HE did an amazing job [with the help of $10,000 from the radio station]. Because of this type of event HE did get a lot of freebies or nearly freebies...
Also this all happened at 8.30 AM !! but we had to be there at 7AM !!
But just think about HER, she had to be up by 5.30AM to be ready for the BIG event.
That was the first time she laid eyes on her wedding dress!
It was an amazing morning with a lot of laughter due to the high ropes. Even the celebrant had to be up there.
A wedding to be truly remembered.
The man in the background of her veil is her Dad [My brother].
How clever was I to capture that!!! LOL....

That is so very cool - I think all weddings should be like that, cram all the stress into 72 hours instead of months of drawn out agony.. (esp if someone else is paying!!)- can't wait to see some of the ropes pictures.
