This is for my sister who is turning the big 50 next week.
The background is 7 Gypsies tissue, the dress form is from Scrapware, the hat is a Hastings art Stamp and the flourish is a sissix. I painted the form base with smooch and covered the dress with paper and used little rosettes on the hem and bling around the neck and waist. I coloured the hat with copics and added the feather and gold bling.
I am entering these challenges:
One stitch at a time- Anything Goes
Scrappy frogs-Summer Flower
Inspire Me Fridays
Papertake Weekly-Hot Colours

I finally got around to fixing this LO up.
I never liked the original one [below] and I am so happy to have finally done this.....
I hope you agree with me that the final version is so much better.
YES.... I am happy now!!
Do any of you do this????
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Hi everyone... Here we are again with another fortnightly challenge from Southern Girls Challenge http://southerngirlschallenge.blogspot.com/ Anything " BIRTHDAY"....
This is a photo of Grandson "Clayton" on his 3rd birthday earlier this year. They live in NSW in the Hunter Valley so we don't get to see him very often but skype is a wonderful thing!!......SOMETIMES......
Used those cool paint dabbers again!!! I do love them for messing up a page or painting chipboard and grungeboard.....They are soooo easy!!! Looooove them....Also used that gorgeous daimond type stamp on the background on the oval. That is so versatile! A big thanks to my friend Sue and her cricut machine for cutting out that 3 image thingy!! I didn't want to use flowers on this LO but had a hole to cover up. Thx Sue.....I used a sketch for this from http://crop-a-mania.blogspot.com/
Thx for dropping BY......

WHITE ON WHITE
Just came across this site and really loved the idea of some simple cards sometimes. This weeks challenge at Less is More http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/ is "WHITE ON WHITE".
I thought that could be fun...
Only trouble is that it is quite hard to photograph with just a normal digital camera and no good daylight. [Raining!!]
Had fun with spellbinders, martha stewart and cuttlebug. TFL

.http://southerngirlschallenge.blogspot.com/...Lets Hear it for The Girls.
I used Moulin Rouge pps and flowers, prima bling and butterfly with a reflections notecard. TH masking tape and a Sassy Studio " I Am Woman-Bubble Bath" digi stamp. The carnival girl I fussy cut from another Moulin Rouge pp and stickled her to make her stand out a bit. I also stencilled the doily with a crafters workshop template...Time Travel and coloured the glitter chipboard letters with a Tombow pen..... TFL
